Hello,

my name is John Dialektos (Giannis). I' m married with Eleni and we have 3 daughters Katerina, Kallia and Joanna-Elisabeth. My daughters and I are radio-amateurs with the call-signs SV1GYG (Giannis), SV1IYL (Katerina) and SV1GYL (Kallia).

We are members of the Greek Association Radio Amateurs (RAAG). We live in a nice suburb of Attiki, Holargos, 8km away from the centre of Athens.

Our antennas are placed on our house, on a 12-metres tower. There are a 3-element beam for 10m, 15m and 20m, a rotary dipole for 12m, 17m and 30m on the top of the tower, a Long Wire with automatic antenna tuner for the bands of 40m, 80m and 160m and three antennas for the UHF and VHF.

I have DXCC for the bands of 10m, 12m, 17m,15m, 20m, 30m, 40m and 80m.I have 5 band DXCC .

I am working SSB , digital modes and CW. The number of the DXCC countries that I have worked is 309 and confirmed . DXCC in SSB # 32921 ,CW # 20100 , RTTY # 92904 ,MIXED # 40576 .

I like going on expeditions on our Greek islands. We have made a team with SV1QN (George), SV1AIN (Fotis), SV1EQU (Manolis) and SW1GYN (Nikos) and I (SV1GYG) which is called GET (Greek Expedition Team) and HIT (Hellenic Islands Team).
